Blackbird, Bye Bye

Pack up all your cares and woes,

Here I go, singing low, bye bye blackbird

…… blackbird, bye bye.

Last post, they’re selling my posts. I never wanted or got a nickel from them, I will be removing them from WordPress.

I don’t know how to do this as I’m a writer and not a techie, that’s probably why they allow people to steal my words and sell them.

To my readers, I salute you and will be back on other than WordPress. Thank you for being with me and inspiring me these few years. The grandmother who died before I was a year old sang that song to me, to get me to go to sleep. It’s that time. Dee

  1. You know that my husband made me a getaway with the .net and not word press so I’ll be back soon. Thanks Lesley, for the like. I’ll make sure to copyright everything else I do. zzzzzzzzzzzz

  2. Are you sure they’re selling your posts? Because there are a lot of blog scrubbers out there that pull content and post as their own, usually from other countries. I don’t worry about it too much, not much you can do about it other than not blog anywhere, and I’d rather blog.

  3. I can’t recall if I mentioned, I took my blogger dot com blog private last Dec when Z confirmed suspicions that Ex was reading… I hate to give it up, but I couldn’t afford the exposure. If I were more of a computer geek, I might figure out how to “delink” my endurovet ID so it doesn’t show up in a Google search…

  4. Val, hire a techie who can help you. I’ll have to do so as well as things are changing around here (good way but stressful nonetheless) and I may come back to WP. What tees me off is that they offer writing lessons and think bloggers know all the tech stuff. I don’t know any of that but I write well and now people are using my words as their own and monetizing their sites. Believe me, I’ve never made a nickel on this site.
