More info on the picture. Tad was just a little guy but was always dressed in cowboy duds when his family left Texas (where his mother grew up) to go back to Montana (home of his father’s family). He loves to rope and has an iron ‘calf’ frame he practices with. In this picture he is trying to teach 4 y/o Joseph how to rope. Tad’s family were good friends of ours. A close examination will show paint spots on the jeans. He is wearing his WORKING clothes here, right down to the spurs. Another photo shows him in sunglasses and with binoculars to check on their cattle.
