Writers and Blogs

In the movie business, writers get no respect. Same here. I wrote something a few minutes ago and it turned up on someone else’s blog as theirs.

Everyone talks numbers and how to get more traffic et al, but WP offers writing classes. Apparently bloggers know all the technical information but don’t know how to write.

If you’re going to steal my stuff and pass it off as your own you may as well hire me, a writer, to do it.

I’m nearing 2,000 posts and thought that was admirable until you just let me down, knowing that you’re letting others steal my work and use it as their own and get paid for it.

I know you won’t publish this so get in touch with me and we’ll see if we can remedy this situation. Cheers! Dee

  1. That’s awful. As far as I can tell, the blogging world seems to rely heavily on etiquette and there’s very little policing, which is unfortuante. If someone’s going to use your content, he or she should at least credit and link back to the original content. Let us know where you end up!

  2. No linkbacks here. I’ll check your blog again and promise I write my own stuff and don’t need to steal yours. Dee
