Thanks, readers and commentators

You make me smile every day.  Over 41.300 folks have looked at this blog.  It frightens me sometimes to think my verbiage warrants reading, much less response.

I threatened to quit but kept it up, though on a less ambitious scale. because I don’t want to let you down, and because writing for you makes me want to smile.

No matter what happens in life, whether it be a move or a loss of a family member or friend, I like to write it out.  Don’t tell my high school or college teachers, as what I did back then was difficult to do because I didn’t believe in myself or my talents.

Yes, I can do 500-600 words in 15 minutes with no editing.  That’s probably because there’s no essay test involved.  I used to worry about having enough words or enough story/research but that was because I had no confidence in myself.

Think Maria in The Sound of Music.  I Have Confidence is something I should have listened to when I saw it three times after it opened.  Thank you for being with me over the years.  Your readership, authorship and friendship are greatly appreciated.  Dee
