New Adventure

Not much today except Jim’s going from one huge bank to another. Paperwork was in by FedEx today and he starts mid-week.

Today he did the nasty stuff, drug test and fingerprinting. Yeah, you need to be fingerprinted to work for a bank. Three banks, four, whatever, one needs to do this every time. I’m sure the FBI appreciates all this extra work our taxes pay for.

Our loft, which we love, is about to be ours for another year but the terms are ridiculous. No TV or typing past 10 pm. No more than two guests at a time. Talk about unenforceable terms.

Nothing else big tonight, except we need a second car. We’ve been able to get away with one because I drive Jim to work 1/2 mile away and he normally walks home. Now he’ll be working a few miles away.

I’ll actually be able to create meals again, and keep up this blog which he lovingly created for me.

I need a car to go to various haunts to find meat and produce and frozen stuff for Zoe. So, more info as it comes in. Stick with me – you won’t be disappointed.
