Yes, about 1/2 hour ago my husband was walking the dog down the path when he saw a skunk carrying a baby skunk (skunklet?) under our neighbor’s deck, or under ours, who knows. Yesterday it was warm and today cold and rainy and they may have been rained out of their past habitat.
He stopped a cyclist from being sprayed and called me so I could see it. It was already hidden. How many skunk babies? I don’t know, but I don’t want to walk out on my deck with the dog and be sprayed by skunks. And we pay a lot for this place and can’t have that space denied us. I hope there is a humane way to trap them and put them on higher ground. Neighbors are making calls. Let’s hope this will work. Cheers, Dee
