Everything has a meaning. You and Mom gave us each an ornament a year. I finally got all those back but have not even tapped through the last twenty years.
You’ll see items from Kids for Kids, Texas and western memorabilia, and cooking things for me. Also a handmade mitten for Zoe, to benefit an ecological cause. Yes, I have a jingle bell wreath (2) inside, one with a recycled glass star.
Is it a Texas star? I don’t know. I love you, Dad. Merry Christmas. Dee

You’re way ahead of me – I kept on INTENDING to drag out the artificial tree this weekend, but never “quite” not A Round Tuit…
That’s “got” instead of “not” of course
May I say this in polite company? I got a “deal” at Whole Foods. Yes, wreaths are now $9.99, which is why I walked home with one dangling from my elbow yesterday. Add a few old ornaments and that’s our tree. Zoe wouldn’t know what to do if we had a country home like yours. All she knows is to be in full view of the entrance/exit to make sure neither of us leave without her say-so! There’s only one here, so we may need another dog or two if there are more venues to guard! Dee
Smaller than a tree, and just right! I usually hang little stockings on my wreath, and have a little wire tree on my piano for about a dozen ornaments. Haven’t done it yet, though…
Dear readers: permit me to introduce my first blog friend pdxknitterati@wordpress.com We’ve been friends for several years but have never met and I hope to do so soon. Cheers from Dee, and I hope to meet my new guitar teacher after the new year. Thanks and enjoy the holidays. Dee
