A grilled NY steak, well-seasoned and topped with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Medium rare, more towards rare. Again, spinaci aglio e olio, spinach with olive oil and garlic. Well all my well-laid plans of settling in w/last week’s bad weather (school was canceled all week but I think that was more due to power rationing for the upcoming SuperBowl than critical road conditions!) fell by the wayside when kitchen pipes froze… Poor P was toting dishes out to the laundry porch to wash up! Fortunately pipes thawed on Sat & we only had one broken faucet…
Do you think all the electric power went into the halftime show? I can’t believe school was cancelled all week. The hurricanes are much worse than a little snow and cold! Sorry about your pipes. That’s something we have to guard against all the time. Last year our neighbor lost 10,000 gallons of water, two commodes cracked and they had to dry out the walls and carpets. What a mess. Hope things are looking up. D
