All white except for a black-tipped tail, I saw movement in the snow ten feet from our window. Don’t worry, this one is not destined for royal robes, as I’d rather see him (Herman) or her (Hermione) cavort on the nature preserve. It’s the first winter ermine we’ve ever seen! In Spring, they’re gray/brown with a white chest.
