Mastitis Blanket II

I bought the blanket for Jim, a very soft and cushy, washable lap robe/blanket that he’s curled up on the sofa with right now.

He says it is similar to the famed “mastitis blanket,” see former post, however I wouldn’t know. It’s closer to our nephew’s snuggly blanket he brought with him two weeks ago on his visit. When the young ‘un gets tired he goes and gets his blanket and falls asleep wherever he is. Just like his uncle, looks like….

All I have to remember to do when washing it is to add fabric softener, as with the dry air here it’ll be full of static cling if I forget. Life is about making people you love happy, so I decided to get something for myself, too.

It’s a sturdy multi-purpose lemon and lime squeezer and it works like a charm. I squeezed two limes today and all the juice came out with minimal effort. When I was younger I squeezed them, then used a fork, then invented using a strong professional kitchen tong (a neat trick). Now this is much easier. IT”s called the 2 in 1 Squeezer by amco household. Busy day, but we each got a treat. Cheers! Dee
