The kejap manis and achiote paste arrived so I can plan more esoteric meals. Like yakitori chicken skewers and tacos al pastor.
Tonight we had burgers, sweet potato fries and corn on the cob. Tomorrow, who knows? Zoe’s eating raw venison (she’s the dog) that’s been frozen a while. When I’m in town tomorrow I’ll buy her some more of her usual frozen raw food. She likes lamb.
Then we get ready for visitors so I look forward to creating menus that charm picky eaters. Talk about specialty ingredients… we’ll see. Cheers! Dee
