Jim drained the four five-gallon water blobs this afternoon. We went to Target and he bought the rope, which we’ll add to the hurricane kit. I found the four strong clips on the dollar aisle ($1 for all four) and I prefer them to purchasing clothespins. I’ll move these to the kitchen when the blobs are fully dry and use them to seal potato chip or tortilla strip bags.
We certainly had enough food for the hurricane that wasn’t, 23 gallons of water and 60# of ice. The freezer is still filled with ice bags so I only had room for one bag of frozen raw dog food.
