  1. Isn’t that a great photo of those old gnarled Concord vines? Reminds me of home. I actually took this one. Got it blown up to 8×10 and it’s in storage awaiting framing and a home in which to place it. Dee

  2. Chautauqua County, NY State, is the place to go for Concords. Other grapes may be crafted to ship well but locals have the best. Try the farm stands on Rte. 60 and elsewhere.

    Then buy enough that you and your family can sit outside somewhere and enjoy your “catch.”

    I haven’t had to buy white grape juice at the supermarket lately to remind me of home, but am having fresh-squeezed unfiltered juice delivered weekly. To me it tastes more like fresh cider but that’s a taste I remember and brings me back to harvest moons and eating a bunch of grapes while waiting for the school bus. Enjoy! Dee
