Luck

I consider myself lucky to be born and have the childhood I lived. To have an education. To have had meaningful and hard work to gain my “chops.”

To have loved and lost enough to realize true love when I saw it. To go through adversity with your life partner and see the way through the tunnel.

To live every day as a new adventure. And when you’re down, have a dog like Zoe with no hips to remind you that things could be worse – and she’s the happiest dog we’ve ever seen!

In the down times we must remember who we are and what we’re here to do. And work to get through it.

These are tough times and many are suffering the result of the war, gas prices and bank failures.

I can think my way out of it, vote my way out of it, and cook my way out of it. Oh, yes, and write my way out of it.

In the end, it’s mainly what we do that governs our own lives. Let’s live our lives to the fullest.
