On MSNBC this afternoon, the normally bombastic Chris Matthews expressed wonder that John McCain and Barack Obama sat next to each other and chatted prior to Tim Russert’s funeral.
I think this is the beginning of a healing of not only our country, but our efforts around the world.
They both want the best for us but differ in how to get there. As Tim Russert would say, “what a country.”
