I overdid it at the kids event yesterday, working nearly three hours in the hot sun during set-up then touring the event with Jim and Zoe (our dog, my non-participatory sous-chef) for another hour.
Three hours of drilling into my jaw in root canal last Thursday took its toll, and I felt tired and sore.
So, this morning my loving husband loaded our new video (purchased for visits from the nieces and nephew), Enchanted. We see all the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series at the theater and this was no exception, so we now keep it and Ratatouille (great for promising cooks) and others in our video library.
My favorite is the “Happy Working Song” portion, followed by the grand Central Park number about love.
Ice pack on my face, video on deck, I enjoyed our new addition and look forward to seeing it again with younger folks when they visit.
My head, physically and emotionally, is getting better after being in severe pain since this blog was launched. (and the blog, not the pain, was created unbeknownst to me by my husband).
