If you’re a fan of Top Chef you had to watch last night. I’m very pleased that Stephanie won. The first woman, yay!
I recall that in kindergarten we weren’t graded on specific subjects but on criteria such as “works well with others.” Lisa could have used a great deal of work on that skill. Her attitude toward the judges was appalling, standing there with her arms crossed, a frown on her face and eyes spitting fire.
At least Richard got the car. I wish him well in the future and would go out of my way to visit a restaurant at which he is the chef.
I very much appreciated Stephanie’s can-do attitude and calm and cooperative manner. She is definitely someone I could work with in a professional kitchen. But I have my own kitchen and enjoy spending time with Jim on evenings and weekends, so I no longer work in restaurants.
While I thought the top chefs of prior seasons were good, Top Chef has really upped the ante and we home cooks can look forward to next season.
