My husband did this yesterday as a gift. I have no idea what I’m doing blogging but I do know how to write and cook so guess I’ll figure the rest out. All but the poem is his test data.
When I was seven Mom used to let me and my younger sister off at the library while she grocery shopped. First we found moth-bitten plays, then ended up acting out Snoopy and Lucy and Charlie Brown for our parents instead (we even wrote tickets). Then I found a cookbook, the Betty Crocker Boys and Girls Cookbook and kept it for three weeks until they called Mom and said I owed nearly thirty cents in overdue fees. Mom bought one for me for my 8th birthday and there were many heady days and years to come.
As I try to figure this new thing out I hope you will be patient and give me pointers and hope. I have learned so much through cooking schools and life, and always want to share what I’ve learned and know more from everyone about family recipes of all cultures.
So, I’m taking off on vacation for a few days and will try to learn more about tags and etiquette et al, then let’s get to know one another and see what we’re interested in learning from each other. Thanks for reading my initial musings. Dee
